After breakfast, you will be pick up at the main lobby of the hotel for your full day excursion. Caño Negro is one of the most amazing trips for bird watching and wildlife.
On the way to Caño Negro you will have the opportunity to learn about agriculture plantations that Costa Rica raise such as yuca, papaya, pineapple, sugar cane and orange.
Then you will arrive to a restaurant called “El Caiman”, where we will enjoy a welcome drink & snack. After that you will begin the trip by boat on Rio Frio. On this 2 ½ hours journey you will see Egrets, Herons, Monkeys, Caimans, Iguanas, bats and a variety of flora.An delicious Costa Rican typical meal will be waiting for us, back to El Caiman Restaurant. Return to the hotel for a evening at leisure.

After breakfast, a private transfer will take you to Sierpe town. From there, continue on a boat trip down the Sierpe River viewing mangrove wetlands.Arrive at Aguila de Osa before lunch.

An adventurous day is ahead of you!
After breakfast the adventure begins: A visit of the Corcovado National Park! Corcovado is the last remaining Pacific lowland rainforest of sustainable size in Central America and has been called “the most biologically intense place on earth” by no less an authority than the National Geographic Society. This rain forest excursion is an unparalleled opportunity to explore the dense primary rain forest adjacent to San Pedrillo, Corcovado National Park’s northernmost ranger station.From the hotel, you’ll take a 25-minute boat ride along the west coast of the Osa. After the wet landing at the station (the boats go in stern first and drop you a few feet from the beach), you’ll begin your rain forest journey.
During the morning hike, your guide will point out many of the diverse species along the trail. You may see white-faced, spider and howler monkeys, white-lipped peccaries, scarlet macaws, coati, and countless other birds and insects. The trails are clearly marked and easy to navigate, ascending and descending through the primary rain forest.
After the morning hike and a break for lunch, you will have the opportunity to hike to a beautiful waterfall. Along the way to the falls you will have another chance for your guide to point out more of the bio diverse flora and fauna. The waterfalls offer the perfect opportunity to relax, take a refreshing swim in the cool fresh water, and take some magnificent pictures.Upon conclusion return to the hotel and enjoy the pool and time off.
